Please join us at the Hawthorne Huddle on Thursday, May 1st, when representatives of the local media will share their ideas on how to build relationships that will support more positive press for North Minneapolis. We will discuss developing news releases that provide “newsworthy” information, and teaching youth effective ways to tell their stories through the written word,
videos, and photography. We will learn how to leverage the various forms of news media and how nonprofits can encourage the media’s interest in their work.
The Hawthorne Huddle will be held from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room at Farview Park, located at 621 29th Avenue North. A continental breakfast will be available at 7:15 a.m. We hope you can attend and participate in the discussion.
